Light to Light
Developed through the Drone Show Design program at ASU’s Media and Immersive eXperience (MiX) Center, The ALT Festival turns the night sky into a choreographed display of light and movement. Named From Light to Light, the show examines the changing significance of light in human culture, ranging from natural occurrences to technological advancements and artistic expression. Crafted and produced by students, the aerial choreography features synchronized illuminated drones that unveil expansive animations across the sky.

In a stunning display of innovation and artistry, a formation of lightbulb drones takes to the night sky as part of the ongoing exploration of light's significance in human culture, as seen in the performance "From Light to Light." The drones, each equipped with vibrant LED lights shaped like classic lightbulbs, shimmer against the backdrop of twilight, creating a mesmerizing spectacle.
